Early Learners
Children enter our Early Learners room at the age of 3, if their birthday falls between September and June. This fun and stimulating room is intended to prepare the children for the more structured routine of the Pre School room.
The staff work very hard to create a more challenging environment for the children to learn and play in, creating opportunities and activities for them to extend their current knowledge and skills.
The daily routine is consistent and familiar for the children and much of the day is led by the children themselves; including self-service at all mealtimes and access to all toys and equipment to encourage the children to choose their own activities. Great emphasis is placed on manners and respect for their peers, other cultures and their surroundings.

The daily routine is consistent and familiar for the children and much of the day is led by the children themselves. They will be introduced to academic concepts such as letter sounds and mathematical language. We recognise that it is equally as important to nurture the children’s emotional development. We do so by supporting their self esteem and confidence, encouraging every child to develop their own character and personality.
Emotional Development
Emphasis is always placed on children’s emotional development and well-being. Children learn to show respect for their peers, other cultures and their surroundings.
Parents as Partners
Parents will be given a verbal hand over when they arrive to pick up their child. Staff will talk about activities the children have enjoyed, how they have eaten and if they have rested during the day. Importantly, if new skills / learning have been achieved during the day.

The children will have lots of fun forming close bonds with their peers and will be given opportunities to play co operatively in clearly defined areas including construction, mark making, role play, small world, music, sand, water, discovery and many more
Our Nursery
Our nursery is set within two acres of grounds, which include private car parking for parents and visitors. We have three main nursery buildings and an extensive outdoor play area consisting of several spacious, well-resourced hard-surface playgrounds, as well as a large lawned area.
Inside, we offer a number of age-appropriate, spacious rooms that are filled with natural light.
