Early Years Foundation
We plan sensitively and individually for each child’s learning and development within the statutory framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage. We provide dynamic and enabling environments both inside and out creating learning environments in which all children can thrive, whatever their individual background, ability or interests. We actively promote British values within daily nursery life to establish high standards of personal and social behaviour.

Guidance to your child’s learning and development in the early years foundation stage
Safety
It is the policy of the Nursery to provide a safe and secure environment for all children. We have well-embedded security policies in place that all staff adhere to. Internal doors are secured at all times and any visitors are asked to confirm their identity before being allowed access to the building. Visitors are then accompanied at all times when inside the building.
Our Rooms
We have different rooms for different ages of children and this allows us to set each room up and provide equipment for their evolving needs.
Play Time
Play is essential in helping children understand the world around them and in helping them to develop socially and emotionally. All our play opportunities encourage children to play and learn at their own pace, choosing to doing things that they are interested in, playing alone or with other children. Our staff will support the children in their play and encourage them to build their confidence and push new boundaries.

Our Nursery
Our nursery is set within two acres of grounds, which include private car parking for parents and visitors. We have three main nursery buildings and an extensive outdoor play area consisting of several spacious, well-resourced hard-surface playgrounds, as well as a large lawned area.
Inside, we offer a number of age-appropriate, spacious rooms that are filled with natural light.
