Nursery Team.
Our friendly, professional and caring staff, several of whom have worked at the nursery for many years, are dedicated to providing the best support and outcomes for all the children in our care.
We make sure that all our staff are trained to the highest standards and check that they are suitable to work with young children by operating a strict recruiting procedure which includes obtaining an enhanced disclosure certificate from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) and references.
Fisrt Aid & Safeguarding
We ensure that all our staff receive regular, ongoing training in Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding.
Our nursery operates within Ofsted’s required staff:child ratios, guaranteeing that the quality of care we provide is never compromised and that attention can be given to each and every child.
Key Carer system
All our staff will ensure that they know all the children in their care and are actively involved in developing varied and interesting activities for every child in the room to participate.
Each member of staff is also a key carer for a specific group of children, supporting each child when they are settling in and forming a special bond with them throughout their time together. The key carer will regularly observe their key group to ensure that they are developing and progressing in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Government Funding
We offer government-funded childcare to support families with the cost of early education in England. Depending on your circumstances, your child may be eligible for 15 or 30 funded hours per week to help with nursery fees.
Government-funded childcare is available for 38 weeks of the year, for children aged over 9 months.
Since we are open 52 weeks a year we stretch our funding across the year.

Our Nursery
Our nursery is set within two acres of grounds, which include private car parking for parents and visitors. We have three main nursery buildings and an extensive outdoor play area consisting of several spacious, well-resourced hard-surface playgrounds, as well as a large lawned area.
Inside, we offer a number of age-appropriate, spacious rooms that are filled with natural light.
